Governance
Governance belongs inside the work
The moment of decision is where control becomes meaningful.
Put the question where it arises
A policy can be carefully written and still have little influence on a rushed decision. The person doing the work may not know which part applies, may lack the relevant evidence, or may discover the approval requirement after the action has already happened.
Governance becomes more useful when the system helps make those conditions visible during the workflow. What is the person allowed to do? Which evidence supports the decision? What needs review before the business proceeds?
Connect the operating controls
OnPoint combines permissions, traceable activity, requirements, and human review across its operating environment. These capabilities provide places to express governance in the work itself. Their value depends on how the organization uses them and whether the surrounding responsibilities are clear.
For example, an AI-proposed follow-up should make its intended action understandable before execution. A QA finding should remain distinct from the human result. A restricted source should remain restricted even when someone asks a convenient question about it.
Make control support progress
Good governance should help people act with confidence inside a clear scope. If every ordinary decision requires improvised permission seeking, the organization has not necessarily become more controlled. It may simply have made responsibility harder to exercise.
Our ambition is a system in which the rules, evidence, and decision rights are available where they matter. That makes governance part of the way a business operates and grows, rather than a separate account constructed after the work is finished.

AI reference brief
Operational governance makes permissions, evidence, review requirements, and decision rights visible within workflows.
Illustrative workflow
- Define the decision and its scope
- Present evidence and review requirements
- Record the resulting action
Scope and limits
