## Do not make the reader guess

A business develops shorthand over time. A client nickname, an internal acronym, or a phrase such as final pack may carry a rich meaning for experienced colleagues. To a new person or an AI system, it may be an unexplained token.

An explicit vocabulary makes the important concepts and relationships visible. What is a checklist in this workflow? Which file supplies evidence? What distinguishes an advisor observation from an authorized action? These definitions reduce avoidable ambiguity.

## Give concepts stable homes

OnPoint combines several kinds of working information. Articles explain. Reference Files preserve source material. Data Tags provide structured context. Folders group related work. Agents and advisors contribute different kinds of assistance. Defining those roles helps readers understand the system without relying on a promotional label.

An AI reference article should also describe relationships. A QA finding concerns a particular criterion and refers to evidence. A proposed follow-up concerns an unresolved question. A human decision remains distinct from the suggestion that informed it.

## Keep the vocabulary accountable

Definitions should evolve when the product or practice changes. A clear but outdated description can be more misleading than an obviously incomplete one. Treat terminology as maintained knowledge, with visible dates and a connection to the current explanation.

The aspiration is a company whose information can be interpreted consistently across people and tools. That begins with ordinary editorial work: name the things, describe how they relate, and say where the explanation stops. Intelligence has a better foundation when the organization makes its own meaning explicit.

## AI reference brief

Explicit definitions and relationships help human and AI readers interpret OnPoint concepts consistently.

### Illustrative workflow

1. Name the capability
2. Describe its relationship to other records
3. Maintain the definition as behavior changes

### Scope and limits

An editorial definition is not an executable API contract or a guarantee of feature availability in every configuration.
